In the last twenty years, the Académie has developed a network of relations with similar institutions abroad. The agreements thus signed allowed the different Schools at Alba to forge strong ties with the most important schools of art and architecture in Europe (mainly in France, but also in Russia, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, etc.) and the Americas (Canada, Uruguay).
Allowing Alba’s faculty to be in contact with the best practices in the teaching of art, these agreements open the way to different types of activities:
- Student and faculty mobility
- Organization of joint workshops in Lebanon and abroad
- Carrying out common artistic projects
- Inviting guest speakers from partner schools
- Organizing research symposiums
Alba seeks to establish new contacts with art schools, whether local or international to develop its network. This educational policy gives Alba students the opportunity to compare their training to those in other artistic environments, thus enriching their education.
Students also participate in all sorts of international activities: competitions, festivals, research workshops, etc. The work of our students has been often been quite distinguished.
